Frequently Asked Questions

Have Questions? We've Got Answers

Find answers to the most common questions from students and parents about the program and counselling session.

Is this equivalent to a B.Tech? Will companies treat it the same?

The B.Sc. (Hons.) is a UGC-recognised degree under NEP 2020, DBATU-affiliated, equivalent in standing for government and private sector recruitment. The NATS Certificate of Proficiency adds an additional government credential upon completing Year 4.

Who can apply for this program?

Students who have completed Class 12 and meet the university eligibility criteria can apply.

What is Quantum Computing?

Quantum Computing is an emerging field of computing that uses qubits instead of traditional bits to process information more efficiently. It enables faster solutions to complex problems and has applications in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, healthcare, and scientific research.

What do graduates earn? What companies hire them?

Our curriculum is built by CTOs from EY, Jio Platforms, and Amdocs — the same companies actively hiring AI professionals at ₹8–15 LPA at entry level.

Does the program include practical learning?

Yes. The curriculum emphasizes projects, industry exposure, apprenticeships and hands-on learning.

What is the total program fee, and is financial assistance available?

The total program fee is ₹8,00,000 over four years — ₹2,0,000 per year, payable annually. Education loan assistance is available and our counsellors can guide you through the process during your ₹99 session.

The program does not include hostel or housing. The DBATU Pune Campus is centrally located with a wide range of affordable accommodation options in the immediate vicinity — most students find suitable PG or hostel options independently within a comfortable budget.

One thing worth noting: Year 4 is a government-registered NATS paid apprenticeship. Students earn a stipend of ₹10,000–15,000 per month from their host employer during this year, which offsets a meaningful portion of the total program investment.
